joncal
Can anyone help me with the following problem. I'm backing up a local HD using an archive script (manually run) to a Sony DAT40 Tape. When I have 'Match Files' checked in the script options and I run the script it displayes the following error. Trouble in Retrospect. Internal consistency check failed: Assertion check at "memory.c-776". The only option is to click the Quit button supplied. When 'Match Files' is off the script works file. I'd appreciate any help with this one. Joncal

natew
Hi I'd start with the basics first: Try new preference files for Retrospect. Try running the backup using a base extension set. Turn off virtual memory and allocate more RAM to Retrospect. Let us know what you have tried so far Nate
