jriggin
Server: 7.5.508 Driver & HotFix, 7.5.14 Doing an immediate or script backup of this server (from the server itself), I'm unable to backup C:\documents and settings\all users\application data\retrospect. It was working just recently but started displaying the error: Scanning incomplete, error -645 (chunk file damaged during save). I've tried rebuilding the catalog, and creating a new backup set. All other backups on the server (backing up other devices) are working properly. I'm able to backup this server from a different Retrospect server (which includes the retrospect application data directory).
fritzybloch
The same thing has happened to me too. Any ideas what's wrong and how to fix it?
fritzybloch
I seem to have resolved this by getting the penultimate saved version of "Retro Config" in Library/Preferences from my Time Machine backup and restoring it. Everything seems to be working correctly now.
jriggin
I'm running Windows 2003, and I haven't found a fix yet. The weirdest part is that I can back up that directory from a different Retrospect server.
Mayoff
You probably have a corrupt config75.dat file. Try removing it and running Retrospect again. Then restore this file from an old backup.
