RB
Which client should I download/install in order to back up VMWARE Servers running ESX 3.0? Thanks-
gbhoffman
Of course, you could back up the virtual machines on the host using an appropriate Retrospect Client for that host. Are you asking how you back up the VMWare host and the settings for each client? That's a good question that EMC needs to answer for us. There is not yet a client for the VMWare host and, AFAIK, the virtual machines can't "see" the host and its files.
RB
Exactly. The host servers running on Linux is what I was referring to.
mauricev
Have you tried installing the linux client on ESX itself? (Of course, you may want to get a backup of it before you try )
Mayoff
ESX is not supported via the client. You can install a client inside a supported guest OS.
