EricBergan
I currently have Desktop 5.6 and 5 client licenses, and use the Backup Server feature to backup a small network. Has this feature been dropped from 6.0, and replaced by the Proactive Client Backup option in the single and multi-server versions? If so, I'm looking at a >$1000 upgrade, several times what I initially paid for the product!? Thanks for any insights! Eric
Mayoff
Yes, Backup Server is now called Proactive Client Backups. For customers that upgrade, you will not lose functionality. Please call our customer service or use the upgrade wizard on our website. We will make the upgrade easy and not as painful as you described. EricBergan
I had checked out the upgrade wizard already, but just gave it another shot and it still quotes me the prices I had mentioned - either upgrade to Pro (presumably without Proactive Client) or spend much more money to go to single server and the proactive client add on. Based on your reply, I'm hopeful that calling customer service leads to a better solution. Thanks. Eric

EricBergan
One final followup. I called and although there was a wait for someone to be available, once I got through, everything went very smoothly. Thanks again! Eric
