mastercam
Does anyone have an idea about this? This client was restored but I think the original backup also had this error. T-15: TPCFolderLoc::NextFind: UGetInode failed, \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy1\winpe_x64\mount\Windows\winsxs\Manifests, osErr 1920, error -1001 T-15: MapError: unknown Windows error 1,
Bruce Cain
I experienced something similar. I was backing up "My Computer" to an external hard disk, and let the program run all night. I got the following error message the next morning: MapError: unknown Windows error 1,920 TPCFileLoc::GetInfo: UGetInode failed, \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy15\Program Files\Dell\DBRM\mnt\Windows\wpeprofiles\core.wpf, osErr 1920, error -1001 I also saw an error message that stated it couldn't find a certain file on the external hard disk (one that Retrospect created). I found the file, but it stated that it was "corrupted". I then had to report the file as "missing". End results: Remaining: 117049 files, 32.1 GB Completed: 148800 files, 213.5 GB Very frustrating. I still don't have a system back-up.
mastercam
Funny, now I'm getting this on a backup of a different computer. I wonder it I need to run a chkdsk....hmmm.
Mayoff
The path \\?\ indicates this item is part of the VSS Shadow Copy service snapshot. Basically these are hidden items created by the VSS Services.
