jaypublix
I am trying to migrate over to retrospect 8, but I can't add any sources. I can only see a mac os9 client (that retro8 can't backup anyway). Using multicast or subnet broadcast doesn't make a difference. I can add a source directly (using ip address), but most of my machines are on dhcp, and the sources aren't showing up... All of these machines currently speak to my existing retro6 server. the clients are running 6.2.234...I updated one machine for 6.3019, but that didn't help either... I've tried stopping and starting the retrospect engine, and rebooting the machine that the engine is running on. So, how do I make retro8 recognize the existing clients? Thanks
Mayoff
Can you see the clients with the engine running on a different computer? I suggest this only as a test.
jaypublix
I have installed a trial version, and the trial version is seeing all of the sources....
bchern
I had to add every single one of our clients manually by entering their ip addresses
