Fulco
A Small Business Server 2008 SP1, I am managing, has some serious problems. One of them forces me to format the C: drive. The System is still running. Retrospect is still able to make Backups. I want to do a Disaster Recovery of the C: volume. This works, but the Recovered disks isn't able to start, due to the missing Boot (BCDEdit) information. Can someone help me 'Copy' the necessary data (with BCDEdit?) to the Destination disk? The system is still running. Fulco
Mayoff
Windows 2008 and Vista are not supported for Disaster Recovery disks. I believe this is in the Read Me document.
Fulco
I know Retrospect doesn't support Disaster Recovery disks for Windows Server 2008! It is about time EMC put this feature back in Retrospect. Windows Server 2008, is released more then 18 months ago. Usable beta's are available even longer! Also the updated WinPE used makes this even more simple. My question is if someone can help make the disk bootable. Fulco
