scotty321
Hey there, I'm really at my wit's end here. Now we're getting an error -519 on the exact same machine that had the error -505 just a few days ago. This is the error message: "Can't access volume megan on Megan's iMac G5, error -519 ( network communication failed)" All other clients on the network backed up just fine. Help, please? Mayoff
This is a wired connection?
scotty321
Yes, a wired Ethernet connection. Airport is, and has always been, completely turned off altogether on this machine. Edited April 6, 2009 by Guest
CallMeDave
we're getting an error -519 When? Where? How? Is the volume "megan" the root of the boot drive on "Megan's iMac G5" or is it a defined Favorite folder? (I don't know if the log is smart enough to report the difference) Assuming is listed in Sources (since the current build can't delete items from that list) can you toggle the disclosure triangle on "Megan's iMac G5"? What do you see there? Can you click the Browse button? Is that where you get the error? If you click the Jumbo "+" Add button, does "Megan's iMac G5" show up in the Sources available from the interface you're using? What interface is listed in that pop-up menu?
