Roxio Looking For Feedback For New Mac Client

Hi all,

 

Here is a recent Retro-Talk thread where Roxio are seeking input about how to handle "Private Files/Folders" in the next version of the Mac client:

Please don't remove the "option-8" method. It's so much more intuitive at this point.

 

If you want to *add* the "drag-drop the path" like the Windows client -- fine -- but please leave the option-8 method as well.

I vote for the option-8 option as well as having a system like Windows where you can specify specific folders. Having drag-and-drop would be extremely nice so you don't have to hunt for the specific directory.

I'm running my employers Retrospect server with about 50 Windows clients and about 15 Mac clients.

It will be perfectly all right for us to drop the support for the "bullet" indication for file/folder exclusion.

Please keep the Option-8 method if at all possible. I have been utilizing this for years and years, as I am sure many others have as well.
