pburke
There is a general statement "Hard Disk Drive/Removable Note: All Hard Disk Drives and Removable Media Drives are fully supported (excluding Floppy Disk Drives)." on the device support page, but I cannot find this Western Digital external hard drive listed: WD Dual-Option USB 2.0 320GB - 7200RPM Hard Drive - WDXUB3200JBNN I am not going to pay for a support call to determine if a device will work with retrospect 6.5 running under Windows XP Pro SP2. Can anyone verify whether or not this drive is supported? When I do a search on this forum for WDXUB3200JBNN, I get a page of posts, none of which reference WDXUB3200JBNN--what's wrong with the search engine? RonaldL
As long as the hard drive shows up within Windows and you have sufficient write permissions to it, it will work with Retrospect.
pburke
If one is considering the purchase of this particular disk drive solely for use with Retrospect, it would be useful to know definitively in advance of the purchase whether or not the drive is supported. natew
Hi All Hard disk drives are supported. That is why they are not in the compatibility list. As long as you can see and format it in windows you are set. Nate
