dodgedakota99 Posted April 29, 2002 Report Share Posted April 29, 2002 i am trying to install the trial of version 5.6 to make sure it is what i want, but everytime i run the install, it says that the wizard was interrupted. all other programs are closed. what is causing the installer to think it is interrupted? lv2ski Posted April 29, 2002 Report Share Posted April 29, 2002 The best thing to do is to go into your registry and look for traces of the installer - you can do this by searching for the word "retro" in your registry. Delete all entries that have to do with Retrospect. Then reboot. Then try the install.Let me know if that doesn't work at that point. It should. dodgedakota99 Posted April 29, 2002 Author Report Share Posted April 29, 2002 i did that, same thing, i pick the directory to install, click install, it goes about 2 seconds and says the installer was interrupted. it never did this a while back when i installed version 5.5 a few months ago to try, but i unistalled it because i was not ready to buy at that point. i want to try 5.6 before buying, but it is hard when it won't even install Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
