ls04
I have been using Retrospect 6.5 for about a week or so and in that time we have changed from backing up to a tape drive to backing up to an external hard drive. I have one machine that drives the backup of my two client machines. I reset my backup destination to the external hard drive and my backups have been working just fine. The problem I'm having is that my client machines are receiving a message each morning that says something like - You have not been backed up since Aug 3 - Please tell your administrator. I thought I had cleared out all of the references to my original backup jobs but there must be someplace I'm missing. Any suggestions?
natew
Hi Does the history window on the client machines show that they have been backed up recently? If the backups are completing properly you should not be getting the message. You might also want to check the operations log in Retrospect to make sure the clients are being backed up. Thanks Nate
