Bruno Bouchon
Nat In reference to our phone conversation. I uninstalled both Retro. 5.5 & 6.5. I then unchecked most recognizable items in the config utility (start up). Then reinstalled Retro 6.5, ran it, tried to duplicate. It again promped with the above error message after scanning a portion of the destination drive. I subsequently exited. Upon reopening it again requested my license code. What now. natew
Hi If I recall correctly you are using windows 98/ME correct? I'm sorry but I don't quite remember the details of the situation (I talk to a lot of people ) Can you please post them here. Did you try disabling startup items with the MSconfig utility? Assert errors usually happen due to problems with memory management. That can mean bad RAM or a corrupt OS install. One thing to try is removing some of the memory in your system and running the duplicate again. That will help eliminate Bad RAM as a point of failure.
