erobles
I am using Retrospect 6.5.342 and I have the 120 GB backup drive. Last week my drive was being acknowledged by XP Pro but this week I do not have a drive letter for the external drive. I have uninstalled retrospect, rebooted, reinstalled the software. It doesn't resolve the problem. I have ensured that I have plug and play installed (I do) but it does not recognized my external drive. Has anyone else had this problem before -- I've looked at the forum but it doesn't appear that anyone else has had this problem. I would appreciate any input from anyone to resolve this. And yes, I have read the manual but it doesn't help. I have also reviewed my device settings via control panel but it only shows a generic device for external storage. Thanks eroble
natew
Hi If Windows does not recognize your drive neither will Retrospect. Can you hear the drive spin up when you turn it on? You may want to talk to Lacie about the problem. Thanks Nate
