kaikow
Don't know in which forum to ask his question, so I'll put it here. This question needs to be answered by someone with a good memory. I don't know the answer. When did Retrospect first start supporting bootable CD-ROM in Windows?
natew
Hi It looks like Retrospect 5.5 for Windows was the first version to support disaster recovery. 5.1 did not. Thanks Nate

Thanks Nate Thanx. When was 5.5 released? What about on Apple systems?
natew
Hi Howard, The copyright message on the Retrospect 5.1 splash screen shows 2001 which sounds about right to me. Retrospect for Mac has supported booting from CD for a long time. I can't test this here but I suspect Retrospect 4.1 supported it. That would be around 1998 or so. Macs are designed to boot directly from CD so it is much easier to implement this kind of feature. Thanks Nate
