Automated Execution - Retrospect 6.5 for Windows

I use Retrospect on both a Mac (V6 for OSX) and a PC (V6.5 Pro) connected to the same Windows 2000 based Network (2000+ machines). I backup some folders on each machine to a file on a shared partition on our server. The Mac version of Retrospect does this without problem. The PC version just will not backup in 'Automated' mode. If I manually start Retrospect and perform an immediate backup, all is well. When Retrospect starts automatically to run a scheduled script, it simply refuses to find my Backup set. I have to shut Retrospect down then start it again. What's going on. This is very frustrating.

Hi

Make sure you have the configure->preferences->security setting set properly. You need to have either a domain administrator or the administrator of the local machine in there.

Thanks

Nate

BTW This setting is not necessary/available in Retrospect for Mac
