shankle
Doing an immediate duplicate using Retrospect 6.5 I get an incomplete run because of Config65.dat. Tried doing a Verify but it looks for a Catalog and Duplicate does not create one. I did not do anything to Config65.dat that I am aware of. Very confusing. natew
Very confusing indeed. Can you explain what you mean by "incomplete run"? Did you get an error in your operations log? if so please post it here. Duplicate operations do not require catalogs or backup sets so I'm not sure what Retrospect was asking for. The config files you mentioned should not affect the duplicate either. You may know this already but here is an article on the differences between duplicate and backup: http://www.dantz.com/index.php3?SCREEN=kbase&ACTION=KBASE&id=28094 Thanks Nate
shankle
Thank you for replying to my problem. Here is the item in question from Dantzs LOG FILE: "C:\program files\dantz\retrospect\config65.dat", appears incomplete This is an actual quote from the log file. natew
Hi You can ignore this error. The log file is in use during the backup so Retrospect thinks that it cannot read the entire file. In general you can ignore errors that happen on Retrospect files. Thanks Nate
