Wilburguy
Hi all, So here is a question that I hope the Dantz tech support people can respond to, but any feedback will be most welcome. As we all know, from time to time something will make a backup hang. So what do you do? Lets say it completes the backup but hangs during the compare stage. If you force quit, you have an unverified backup which isn't really a backup at all. I backup Cheetah drives with audio files onto Sony AIT tapes. Today the program hung (with spinning gear icons still spinning) just after starting to compare. After 15 minutes I forced a quit. I can't back up again because retrospect says nothing need to be backed up. What do you do?
IrenaS
Unfortunately, there is no way to force Retrospect to do that level of verify after the fact. This is a great product suggestion. Irena Solomon Dantz Tech Support
