Are most new DVD drives configurable through the custom configuration utility? Any particular brands that are more likely to be configurable than other brands? natew Posted July 14, 2004 Report Share Posted July 14, 2004 Hi I would look through what is supported and base your purchase on that. There are only a few companines that actually make drives. Other companies then repackage and sell them. Normally the box will have some model numbers. I would check those against the Dantz hardware site to see if anything is close.
