shankle Posted July 8, 2004 Report Share Posted July 8, 2004 How do I know if the backup is any good using Retrospect 6.5? The compare hung with about 5 minutes to completion. It said the catalog was out of sync so I did the things to rectify that. At that point I suppose I have a good catalog and backup. BUT I am not certain. The backup took about 4 1/2 hours. natew Posted July 14, 2004 Report Share Posted July 14, 2004 Hi What OS and backup device are you using? You could run a verify operation from the tools menu to make sure the media is readable.
