zepplin
We have a back up that we are trying to recover to one PC on our wirless network. All PC's are running Windows XP Pro. The PC in question is a Lap top, the hard drive failed on this and we have replaced it and installed a fresh copy of XP Pro. I downloaded the Client software and installed it on the new drive. In addition I gave the 'new' PC a different name (as per the instructions on the Disaster Recovery printout). The problem is that Retrospect 'sees' the new drive and now considers this a 'new' client. That being the case the program wants us to purchase another license for this 'new' client. As this is not actually the case, we tried to rename the new drive as the original, and Retrospect says it cannot connect to this drive, which it clearly sees???? Is this reality, we have to buy a new licence everytime we have this kind of issue?? Are we missing somthing? H E L P Zep
