rjz1017 Posted June 10, 2004 Report Share Posted June 10, 2004 Our server got zapped a few weeks ago and we only have one lone backup tape that has files on it (its from 2 years ago but we'll take anything at this point). Heres the problem: We recreated a catalog for this DAT tape so we can actually pull files from it. When I click on the catalog icon, it says the tape has 15,000 files and when I click on "snap shot" it shows 4 main folders. Problem is that there is a 5th folder that isn't showing up and thats the one we need! When I go to "reports," "backup set contents," that 5th folder shows up and it shows 8,000 files. The other files add up to 7,000 files which makes sense since under the catalog icon, it says the disk has 15,000 files. I just want to be able to restore that 5th main folder and get the files.
