khill821
Hello, I have recently purchased a PowerBook for home use. I recently begun looking for a backup utility that will be able to backup both my wife's laptop (XP Pro) and mine (Mac OS X) to a Windows 2003 Server. I also have a Windows 2003 Server that I wanted to use as the backup destination (i.e. I do not need to backup the server). Since I am not actually backing up the server, I was hoping I could use Retrpspect Windows Professional with the laptops being clients, but it seems I cannot install the professional version on a server OS. So... Does anyone have any recommendations as to how to backup both laptops to the Windows server? Thanks! -Kevin
Mayoff
To run Retrospect while it is installed on a Server (even to backup the Macs) you would need Retrospect 6.5 Single Server Edition
