moroo
I changed source drive from 80GB HDD to 300GB HDD. I copied all files from old drive to new one using Retrospect Duplicate. Before that I backed up old 80GB HDD to DVD media backup sets A. I tried to backup from new drive using backup sets A. Retrospects says all files need backup. My question is: Are there any way to backup only new files to DVD? I want to continue using backup sets A.
natew
Hi Chances are that some attribute of the files changed during the transfer between drives. Is the new drive the same format? Have you updated the OS? Thanks Nate
moroo
It's new drive, but old drive format is NTFS and new drive one is FAT32. I have not update OS. I just add new IEEE 1394 drive. thanx
natew
Hi The format change is enough to do it. NTFS and Fat32 keep time very differently. That means the dates on all of your files will have changed from Retrospects perspective. Thanks Nate
moroo
After I changed to NTFS, it looks fine. Thank you. Arigatougozaimashita.
