pvsurfer
A month 'after-the-fact', I've noticed that I incorrectly named one of our backup-sets (which resides on an external HDD). In other words, it was not named in accordance with our (R6.5) backup-set naming convention. What's the proper procedure (if any) for renaming the set so that the associated logs, history, etc. reflect the name-change?
natew
Hi Once a set is named the name cannot be changed. Your only option is to create a new set with the proper name and transfer the contents of the other set into it. This will not update your logs but it will at least get you a set with the proper name containing your data. Thanks Nate
pvsurfer
Too bad, but thanks anyway for the reply Nate. That may be a good enhancement though!
