soupmedia
Retro desktop 5.1 Mac OS9 I've backed up over 50 gig to a dozen or so dvds and I need to make 2 copies of each backup set member - one for another dept, one to be stored offsite. I've tried copying them using all sorts of programs on both windows & mac with no success. Is there an easy way to duplicate members after the initial backup? or do I need to restore everything and back up again twice?
natew
Hi The transfer feature from the tools tab will copy the contents of one backup set over to another. Thanks Nate
tinadejarld
Do you have to have 2 tape drives to use the transfer feature tool? That's what article 27080 in the knowledgebase says. Is there any way to do this with one drive? We want to do the same thing, make a duplicate of each tape in our library. We're using DLT. Thanks, Tina
natew
Hi With one drive you would have to transfer to a file backup set on disk first then transfer that to tape. Thanks Nate
