susan23
I see that with Retrospect Prof. 6.5 I can back up directories located on a network NT Server to a local Wind. XP workstation where Retrospect is being run from if I use Immediate Backup and the server drive is mapped on the XP machine. From reading directions, it would appear I should not be able to do this...must have TCP/IP and must have Retr. Client running on server. -Or am I misreading? Althought I can backup file directories on the server to my XP workstation that has Retrospect installed on it, I have not been able to do it by schedule as I have never gotten the loging/password features to work to have the right permissions to access the server files, even tho it works fine if I run it live. Is this related to not have Retrospect Client running on server? Or is this an XP - NT conflict...having to login to both XP and NT? You can see I am somewhat confused about this. -Thanks for any help
