Gildas Posted April 13, 2004 Report Share Posted April 13, 2004 Hi, I've tried to read old Backup Exec archives with a trial version of 6.5 single server and it just says "unrecognised media" is there an add on for this? The media is in a AIT- 1 35c single loader, I've also AIT2 in a quad loader The tape drives are Sony and work fine. And I've managed to run a Dantz backup and restore without a problem. There just doesn't seem to be a catalogue feature, as in Backup Exec,. Is AIT a standard format? does all software write to it in the same way? is there maybe a conversion utility?
