Backup quits!

Using ver 6.5 on XP Home. If I do an immediate back up (full 3 programs) which contain about 680mb....no problem burning onto a CD. If I do a scheduled back up, the first two programs burn rather quickly...but when I come in the morning the CD is ejected (appears almost full by looking at the 'grooves') on the screen the meter shows about 50% completed but if I put the CD back in...nothing happens...if I exit the program and try to read the CD from explorer (just to see if any space used) the no indication of data. If I then have Retrospect look at the media in the device...it informs me it is write protected. The following is what the operations log printed:

Hi

CDs created with Retrospect are in a special format (thats how we can do compression etc). You need to look at the contents of your backup sets in Retrospect to see what is stored on the disks.

You cannot read them in Windows explorer.

Are there any media request windows or anything on the screen?

Nate

Thank you for the post. Yes there are media requests. another user informed me that although I'm backing up less than 700 meg, a second disk is needed.....so to do this I have to back up less....or have someone around to change the disk....

thanks again.
