retrospeck2004 Posted March 11, 2004 Report Share Posted March 11, 2004 hello i have a client which runs retrospect pro 5.x on mac and now moved to 6.5 on pc. now he´s asking me how to move the dlt archives and the backup set from mac to pc. the mac backup sets are not recocnized in the pc. is there any way to convert them? if not could he rescan the dlt tapes? thanx for any help. kaikow Posted March 12, 2004 Report Share Posted March 12, 2004 Is a DLT drive the only drive in common to the Mac and PC? Might be easier to copy the raw files to, say, an external USB/Firewire drive on the Mac and move that drive to the PC, then recreate the backup sets to the DLT drive, or other backup device.
