ehanssen Posted March 5, 2004 Report Share Posted March 5, 2004 I have client that is evaluating using Retrospect 6.5 Professional. They also use the backup utility built-in to Windows XP. The Retrospect 6.5 Pro trial version was installed, but now the XP removable storage does not recognize inserted tapes. natew Posted March 7, 2004 Report Share Posted March 7, 2004 Hi Retrospect disables the Removeable storage manager. You can change this on the preferences menu of Retrospect on the media handling preference. Otherwise Retrospect does not disable the XP backup utility.
