New Computer / Retrospect Doesn't "see" the Maxtor Drive

I have installed the Retrospect 5.6 that came with my Maxtor one touch on the new Dell using XP Pro. It worked great on my lap top using the XP pro.


Now when I try to configure for automatic, it doesn't show the Maxtor hard drive, designated F (windows says it is working fine). The prompts say that they don't apply to hard discs. I have updated the drives, rebooted etc.


This unit is 4 months old. Do I need to pay to upgrade to the new software? It is frustrating that Retrospect came with a hard disc but won't recognize it. Help !
