Julian Hankinson
Using W2000 and 6.5.336. When performing a manual immediate backup of local HDD to a backup set on a network HDD everything works as advertised numerous times. If a script is written to do that same task automatically, the network set will not be found and if the media is checked after this failed attempt, it will not be available. Simply close Restrospect, re-open and try a media check or immediate backup, and everything is OK again. What am I missing? thanks JH
natew
Hi First set the security preference to run as a local admistrator on the machine running Retrospect or as a Domain admin. That should take care of it. If that doesn't do it, you can set up automatic log in from the backup sets properties. Nate
Andrew500
Also make sure that you set the field "Log on to" to your machine name.
