AlphaOmega Posted February 11, 2004 Report Share Posted February 11, 2004 I'm running Retrospect 5.0.205 on a G4 (OS 10.2.8). A few weeks ago I had to reinstall the system and all the apps. Now the backup runs fine on this machine, but I have problems backing up one networked G4 running OS 9.2.2. I can get the OS9 machine mounted on this desktop over the network, launch the script, scan the whole drive (even though I'm only specifying one folder to backup while I'm testing the script!), but as soon as completes the scan and tries to begin copying, I get the message: Scanning incomplete, error -43 (file/folder not found). --I noticed that trying to run the backup on the OS9 machine with the full working set of extensions on crashes it -- so I've turned off all but the very basic batch. Now it doesn't crash, but I still can't get the backup to complete. Ideas, please... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
