Oakridge
I wish to have some clarification on two issues. What is the correct backup type for making a full backup each evening? What type of backup will only copy changes? What needs to be checked to insure that the System Data is being backed up? Oakridge
natew
Hi Normal (incremental) backups copy any files that are not already in the backup set. That means the first backup is a full and every backup after that backs up new and changed files. Even though the backups are incremental the restores work exactly like you did a full backup every day. If you want to wipe out your backup everyday and backup every thing again do a "recycle backup". By default Retrospect backups the system information when you backup the root a system drive Nate
