The server needed to reformatted so I saved mt .rbc and .dat files before I reformatted it. Now I have reinstalled Retrospect 6.5 on the reformatted server, and I am trying to transfer the files over into Retrospect, and I am having no luck. What do I have to do to get these transferred over and make my clients, and backup sets show up in the new Retrospect? I hope that I am not going to have to go in and start all over again. I still have the tapes that have the information fro the old backups on them. What can I do ? HEEELLLPPPP? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
natew Posted February 6, 2004 Report Share Posted February 6, 2004 Hi I would reinstall Retrospect as normal, restart the computer, close Retrospect, then drop the config65.dat and config65.bak files into c:\documents and settings\all users\application data(hidden)\Retrospect\ After that just double click on all of your catalog files in Windows. That will let Retrospect know the catalogs have moved. You may also need to delete old volumes out of the Retrospect volumes window. Nate Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
