Keith Plucker Posted February 3, 2004 Report Share Posted February 3, 2004 Hello, We have been using an older version of Retrospect on Mac OS 9 (ver 4.3) for quite some time. However, we are getting some new hardware, one piece of which will be a new server running MS's server software (not sure of the exact flavor yet). I would like to get Retrospect on the new server to back up the server (Mac and Windows files) and all of the Mac/Windows XP clients. We will still need to restore old jobs from the tapes we created on the Macintosh. My question is this: We will be able to use the MS Server version of Retrospect to restore data from the tapes we created with the Macintosh version? natew Posted February 9, 2004 Report Share Posted February 9, 2004 Hi No problem there. You will need an OSX compatible version of Retrospect though.
