Guest
I just bought a Maxtor Onetouch 250 gb external harddrive (firewire / USB 2.0) and retrospect for windows 6.0 I made 3 partitions on the 250 Gb harddisk: two of 70 Gb and one of 110 Gb. (Drive E, F, G) I use drive G to store large video files and drive E and F are intended for storing backup's. I have now tried to create a script with retrospect to back up my laptop's C drive (60 Gb) on the E partition of the external harddrive. When I create a script the program tries to back up not only my C drive but also my F and (huge) G drive to the E drive, for the program wants to back up my "entire system". How can I create a script that will back up only my C drive? I know it works with "immediate backup" but I want to have it automated. Thank you ALL!!! natew
Hi Go to go to manage scripts from the automate menu and edit your current script. Make sure the source is _only_ the drive you want to back up, not the entire my computer container. Thanks Nate
