pmonether
Using Retrospect Workgroup 5.0 for Mac 9.x Issue when restoring a student's files from a backup set = the destination folder for the restored files appears empty when opened + file count at the top of the window is 0. Files are clearly visible for marking in the file selection dialog window during Restore, and the progress meter reports the files as they're being restored. Also, Restore Execution Success is being reported upon completion. Using Res Edit, I can see the files are there in the destination folder - correct icons, file sizes etc., and the invisible check box is not checked. Anyone have any clue as to how to make the files accessible? I've used Retrospect for years and have never encountered this one before.
natew
Hi Try doing a "restore entire" restore to a subfolder on your drive. You might also want to try a "files only" restore. Any chance you can try restoring the files to a different volume? Thanks Nate
