xyz125
Every time I try to run Duplicate, Windows XP Home Edition closes down after an indeterminate time and I get a blue screen telling me Windows has closed down to protect my computer from damage. I have run a hardware check on my Maxton One Touch Drive and there are no problems. Anyone know how to resolve this problem? Thanks.
natew
Hi I suspect this is a problem with your USB2 adapter driver. Is the USB2 card built in or did you add it? Are you accessing the drive via firewire? Have you turned off the system restore feature on the external hard drive? Thanks nate
xyz125
Hi! The USB adapter card is built in and I am accessing the hard drive via the USB card. No, I have not disabled System Restore on the external Hard Drive. Funnily enough, I did a fullback up last week rather than a duplicate copy and that worked fine. Should I disable Sytem Restore and try again or shoudl I remove and reinstall the software? Thanks for your prompt reply. Patrick.
