The client has "lost" his origional WIn98SE install CD, the HDD crashed and now I am trying to get him up and running, but all I have is a winXP install CD... Any Idea's? natew Posted January 9, 2004 Report Share Posted January 9, 2004 Hi You can try this: Partition the drive into two Fat32 partitions. jerryheyman Posted January 19, 2004 Report Share Posted January 19, 2004 While you need to divide the hd into two partitions, you need to install Windows 98 first and then install XP. This will create the correct boot configurations. I don't remember the Microstoft Knowledge Base Ariticle, but that is my recollection.
