Error 530

I am running Retrospect 6.0 on a Windows NT 4.0 machine with SP 6a. The backup has run fine until two days ago when the client would not execute properly. I have to reload the software and now the client seems to connect properly. However, I still have the old client listed. What will happen when I try to restore from older tapes that recognize the previous client if I select forget on the properties menu under client. Will I be able to restore from older tapes?
