glennmarston
If I restore with Retrospect on a computer (IBM ThinkPad X20) that has an OEM partition containing software to restore to a as-delivered state (i.e. Windows, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Microsoft Works and other original applications in brand-new, unused form), will that OEM partition and its files remain intact and usable? natew
HI Retrospect does not change partitions around so it should stay in tact even when you use a Disaster recovery CD. The only time it would be a concern is when you restore to a completely blank hard drive. In that case run the manufacturers install CDs first, then run the Retrospect restore.
