erik911
I have batch file that shuts down non-essential services before the scheduled backup, then another which starts those services after the backup completes. Currently the Windows scheduler runs the batch file a few minutes before the retrospect script kicks off. Is there a way to have retrospect run the scripts before and after the backups?? I'm shutting down these services in hopes of overcomming the open file agent error "disk inactivity threshold not met" (yes I've adjusted the threshold level down). I'm using version 6.5 multi-server. Thanks in advance
natew
Hi Check out the Retrospect manual section on External scripts. The file you will need to use is called Retroeventhandler.bat. There is also a good explanation in the External Scripts folder located in the Retrospect folder Nate
