gwinn7
We are running version v5.6 of Retrospect. We have added an external USB drive (F:) which I do not want included when Retrospect performs its backups. I exclude drive F: from the list of volumes to backup, but every time a backup is performed, Retrospect attempts to record a snapshot of the drive. This process is lengthy and takes too long! I only want C: and D:. So, I clicked "Forget" for that snapshot of F:, but it re-appears as a snapshot for the next backup. My question is, how do I configure Retrospect to consistently ignore the F: drive for building snapshots? Thanks, Gary
natew
Hi You will have to create 2 scripts: Script 1 will backup C and D including the snapshot Script 2 will backup F only but you will turn off the "save snapshot for restore" preference in the script options.
