zeldon
Hi All... My first post. Just bought a Maxtor 120GB external drive with Retrospect 6.0 loaded. Did my first backup from my computer's internal HD (also a Maxtor). Upon finishing, the error log shows 426 files which "didn't compare at offset XXXXXXXXXXXX in stream "data"". What's happening? Are all these backup files with these message corrupt? Any help would be appreciated. -zel
Mayoff
This is usually and indication of a device communication problem of some type. I would not trust the quality of the files copied (data corruption during copy). This could be caused by old USB/Firewire drivers, bad cables etc.
