jwarshaw Posted January 19, 2004 Report Share Posted January 19, 2004 Was this issue ever solved? I am now having the same problem. I have requested software compression, although my Travan Seagate Tapestor should over-ride this with hardware compression. However, I am getting NO compression at all, and the backup activity monitor is showing no compression statistics. At 10GB, it asks for a new tape. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
