Guest Posted October 21, 2003 Report Share Posted October 21, 2003 Hi, I'm completely new at this. I'm trying to back-up my internal Power Mac G4 160gb drive. I create a file as back-up set A with the source as my hard drive. I hit back-up, but then at last it says "execution incomplete". It says 0% of 92gigs have been successfully scanned. I'm trying to back it up to a lacie external hard drive, but I can't even get that far! Any one know what's up? Thanks, Walt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
natew Posted October 29, 2003 Report Share Posted October 29, 2003 Hi Your Retrospect log file should have some more details on when and why the error is occuring. If it is happeing on scan try backing up individual folders on your hard drive using "Subvolumes". That will help you narrow down which file could be causing the scan to fail.
