pammann Posted October 18, 2003 Report Share Posted October 18, 2003 I am running Multi Server 6.5 with the open file backup option. Works great with servers and all clients but one. Every time a job starts to backup my clients, I get an error in the logs consistently for the same user: Can't use Open File Backup option for Drive C (C:) on MACHINE, error -1017 (insufficient permissions) I don't get it? His Win2KPro machine build is the same as all the others in the office... and the rest run fine. Is it possible he changed an NTFS permission somewhere that retrospect needs?
