I just installed and tried the SCSI update... sorry, but Retrospect 5.1 with driver update 4.1 still does not recognize my LaCie AIT connected to an ATTO UL3D Ultra160 SCSI card on my G5 DP 2 gig. Note: I did try resetting the SCSI ID and tried the second channel of the dual channel SCSI card. I could try another PCI-X slot if it might work.
